Paying homage to the legacy and influence of Playboy, iconic London footwear label Duke + Dexter announced its newest men’s footwear collection inspired by the iconic lifestyle brand. Made in limited quantities, Duke + Dexter x Playboy will highlight Playboy’s heritage and influence throughout recent history, blending the freedom and taboo-pushing self-expression of a classic American icon with the flare and subversive attitude of one of London’s leading footwear labels.
American model and artist Luka Sabbat was chosen by D+D for the collection’s campaign images. Shot on 35 mm at the iconic La Dolce Vita restaurant in Los Angeles by Menelik Puryear and styled by George Cortina, Sabbat’s recent rise has seen him labelled as the poster boy of an introspective generation through his relevance and originality.
The Duke + Dexter x Playboy collection is made up of 8 shoe designs, each limited to just 200 pairs, as well as a collection of accessories, including an incredibly rare bunny camo robe made in conjunction with British tailor Joseph Darcy. Launched in May 2021, the collection will be available at dukeanddexter.com
